REV. JASON STRONG

Pastor

Jason was born into and raised in a Christian home, and married Robyn in 1988. They have been married for 33 years. Robyn has been a faithful and loving wife who seeks to be a good church member. Together they have six children (ages 32,30,28,26,24,22). Three of their children are married and have blessed Jason and Robyn with 5 grandchildren.

Jason began Christian Ministry in 1990 when he and Robyn went on Staff with Campus Crusade for Christ (now cru) until 1992.

Jason attended seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS), Jackson, MS and completed his MDIV in 1995. He first served as an Assistant Pastor in FL, then was the organizing pastor for the next two churches he served (AL & OH). After 23 years in full-time Christian ministry, 20 within the context of the church, the Strong family sensed a call to minister the Gospel to our Soldiers within the US Army. Jason began service as a U.S. Army Chaplain in 2013. He has served as a traditional reservist, was activated for Active duty to Washington DC for 18 months, and for 7 years served full-time as Support Chaplain for South Carolina National Guard, being mobilized multiple times throughout. Jason believes in the ordinary means of grace and the power of God’s Gospel, and desires to serve as God leads.

Jason believes in the power of the Gospel of God to save and sanctify.
